FAQs
Can I address Council about my Development Application? If you have a matter such as a development application before Council, and you would like to give Councillors some additional information about it at an ordinary meeting when it is to be discussed, you can respond to the Mayor's request near the beginning of each meeting for members of the public to identify which item they wish to address. You will be granted about 3 minutes to address Council. You will not be allowed to enter into debate with Council, and you may or may not be asked questions by Councillors about your address. If you require more time than was allotted for you to speak, Council will need to resolve to give you more time.
