Can I go to a Council meeting?

The public is welcome at Ordinary Council meetings, which are held on the first Thursday of the month, usually at the Bungendore meeting room at 10 Majara St. Three meetings each year are held in the Braidwood meeting room in Park Lane.

The meetings commence at 2.00pm.

There may be occasions when Council has to move into closed Committee of the Whole to discuss certain items, and the press and public are given an opportunity to make representations as to why the Council should not move into closed committee. If these are not successful, Council will move into closed committee and the press and public will be excluded.
