What is complying development?
This is development which has minimal impact, is small-scale and can be certified by Council staff or accredited certifiers subject to complying with certain requirements. Some examples of these include changing a building's use from a shop to an office or vice versa, and ancillary garages. Please refer to Council's Development Control Plan for Complying Development for more detailed information.
