Braidwood Sewerage Scheme
The allocation of State and Federal grants towards the Braidwood Sewerage Scheme Augmentation has necessitated the preparation of a revised draft Development Servicing Plan (DSP) and a revised draft Pricing Policy for Braidwood.
These documents are now on public exhibition. The DSP will set developer contributions for the upgrading of the sewerage system to cater for future development of the town and the Pricing Policy will set the charges that will be paid by customers covered by the scheme.
These plans can be viewed on Council's website under "Your Council" on the home page, then "Miscellaneous Papers".
Paper copies can be viewed at the Council's Braidwood and Bungendore offices during business hours.
A workshop with the community will be held to provide information on the documents on 15 May 2008 in the Braidwood Council Chambers, commencing at 6.00pm. Interested members of the public are invited to attend.
Public comments are invited in writing on the plans up to 4.00pm on Friday, 30 May 2008. All comments received will be considered by Council prior to formal adoption of the Plans.
