Queanbeyan-Palerang Regional Council is holding a series of community workshops to help develop an Integrated Transport Strategy (ITS).
“The Strategy will provide direction for Council in the areas of transport, public transport networks and links, cycle networks and links, footpath networks and links, heavy vehicle management, future road planning and regional integration with the ACT and broader NSW,” Council Administrator, Tim Overall said.
“We are inviting the community to come along and have their say on the pedestrian, road and bike infrastructure in their area.”
The development of the Integrated Transport Strategy will also include updates to the Pedestrian Access and Mobility Plans (PAMP) and Bike Plans.
Workshops will be held at the following times and locations:
· Tuesday 20 June 2017, 5pm to 6:30pm – Queanbeyan PAMP at Queanbeyan Library
· Tuesday 20 June 2017, 7pm to 8:30pm – Queanbeyan Bike Plan at Queanbeyan Library
· Wednesday 21 June 2017, 7:00pm to 9:00pm – Queanbeyan ITS at Queanbeyan Council Chambers
· Thursday 22 June 2017, 4:00pm to 6:00pm – Braidwood ITS, PAMP and Bike Plan at Braidwood Council Chambers
